Face Shop Brightening Rice Water Lip and Eye Make-up Remover

Hey guys! I'm back with another review. I've been using this product for a couple of months now and only have 1/4 left of the bottle!!! I'm actually really hesitant to finish it because this is the 1st make up remover that i've loved..i've tried others but didn't like any of them :( If you guys have any that you recommend, feel free to leave them in the comment box and i will try them out :)

The packaging looks like this:

It is really cute and easy to control the amount of product that comes out. The scent is really refreshing. It smells similar to cooked brown rice but with a sweeter, milkier undertone. I really like it :D

The product comes in 2 layers and you need to shake the bottle before use to mix the phases together. It leaves a nicely moisturised finish without being oily or greasy which is awesome. The way i recommend using it is to dab it 2-3 times on a cotton pad if you have light eye make-up on. If you have heavy smoky eyes, 3-4 times should suffice. I normally place the cotton pad on my eye for a 5-10secs before wiping it off so the product has time to mix with the make up so it can be easily removed. I find that not waiting for the remover to react with the make up doesn't remove enough in one swipe which means that you will be irritating your eyes more for the same effect.

THE VERDICT:
Like I said, I haven't found any other eye&lip make-up remover that i like, especially around the same price. I think i bought it for 13AUD...i cant really remember though sorry >< So i highly recommend this! <3

Etude House Skin:Malgem Essential Review

Hey! I am a HUGE fan of Etude House.. in fact i love anything to do with Korean beauty products ever since I became absolutely obsessed with KDramas lol. So i wanted to do a review for you since I've been using this product for a while. I do have the smoother toner as well but i will put that as a separate post.

First of all, my skin is extremely oily in the T-Zone area (that's the forehead and the nose).Think about what a typical teenage boy's skin goes through and that's what my skin constantly is even though i've well and truly past the adolescent stage :(

The product itself is in a plastic bottle, kind of like the one you drink out of, and looks like this:
It has a layer of oil on top of the layer of toner. It smells very citrusy and reminds me of a car's air freshener. Be warned that it is very strong and for me, quite offputting. However, since this is Taemin's (from SHINee) toner out of the series i was determined to try it.

To use it, DON'T mix the products together. The point is to use a little of the oil and more of the toner which is done by simply pouring the product onto a cotton pad. This essential skin:malgem toner does leave a layer of oil on your face afterwards which for me was very unpleasant since I felt that it was just going to mix with the oil that my face was going to create.

However after using it everyday for 3weeks, I got used to the oily film AND the greasiness of my sebum was visibly becoming less greasy and oily and more dewy. I was very pleasantly surprised :D

VERDICT:
This is truly an essential product. It reduces the greasiness of oily skin while improving the moisture of dry skin. I very much recommend it :)

Welcome :)

Hi! This is my first ever post and i've been thinking of creating a blog full of random things that pop up in my head for a while now and I guess this is as good a time as any. I absolutely LOVE reading people's reviews of beauty products and although i'm such a noob at makeup, I love skincare and would like to start reviews on this blog.

A few things about me:
- I'm a normal 20yr old girl.. yes i refer to myself as a girl rather than a woman coz i dont want to get old!! :(
- I like to daydream.. a lot.
- After reading a particularly bad review of a product, I would immediately go out and purchase that product..I have no idea why I do it! Crap products tempt me just as much as the good ones!!
- I am SUCH a sucker for ads with famous people I like... even the celebrities that I only like a little I would buy their products so I am the best (or worst) consumer ever

That's all I can think of for now.
See you soon! Ciao!
